It was so lovely to see you pop up in my notifications for the first time, I can’t believe I haven’t come across you before. You’re a beautiful ray of sunshine and your smile put a smile on my face! I have to say neither I nor my children are morning people, we don’t tend to talk very much in the morning other than good morning and I love you have a good day 😂 I think because it’s not the norm for you the children appreciate it more even if they don’t say at the time in their future it’ll be one of their memories that mum used to go out of her way because she loves us and we are important to her. Glad your son managed to go back to school without too much problem, it makes life for us mums so much easier. Hope you have a good week thank you for sharing your meals this week xx
This was my first video of yours - found because of the pantry challenge. Lots of interesting ideas. =) Just a heads up - I have heard that leaving your mixing bowl on top of your scale while mixing can mess up the calibration of your scale. I don’t know if it’s true, but maybe better safe than sorry. 🤷🏻♀️
For an even quicker roast, potatoes and carrot assembly to cook; I sometimes buy baby fingerling carrots, fresh or canned (home canned or store bought) along with canned potatoes, (home canned, or store bought when on sale). I dump the roast in the crockpot, season it with salt n pepper, and let it slow cook all day. For the canned carrots and potatoes, I don't add them until appx 1 to 2 hours before we eat, since they are already soft. To make leftovers into stew, I break up the cooked roast, and add more sliced carrots and sliced potatoes, heat it to boiling, and make a corn starch slurry, that I season with salt n pepper, and add it to the broth. This was one of my 4 children's favorite meal, when they were young. My husband grew up with dried out roast dinners every Sunday. He's not a fan, because of memories of dry roasts. He'll eat two servings though, and appreciates home cooked meals, whatever it is!!
Hi Bree, hope you're having a lovely day, it's sunny and warm with very little wind here today in Palmerston North, New Zealand 🇳🇿. Your meals all look and I'm sure taste, amazing! One thing I noted was that whilst weighing your bread ingredients on the scales, you also mixed it on the scales. A word of warning, when you mix on the scales, the pressure changes up the weight quickly and severely in a short time. I've heard from lots of people that this can unbalance or decalibrate your scales pretty quickly. Then you'd need to have them recalibrated....just humor me and move it off the scales to mix. Love you videos, and that you have the children helping you to cook often. Best thing I ever did with my son. He's 36 now and a really great cook.Bye for now, hoping you all aren't so cold.....❤🎉😂
I believe both girls and boys, should help and learn in the kitchen. My two sons could cook or bake, since they were little, appx 8-10 years old! All 4 of my grown children are fantastic cooks and bakers! My husband could barely boil water, when we got married, and for the first 25 years together! He's learned a little, but does the cleanup and has learned to do laundry, because of my health issues! I LOVE to cook and bake, but hate the cleanup. I'm grateful for a man who is willing to do that; especially since he retired about 5 1/2 years ago! I have my grandchildren help me now, when they come over, so "Mom and Dad" can have a date night or day. Moms often don't have time or patience to have their young children "help". It takes much longer; but I have nothing but time, and love to hear them tell mom and dad how they made cookies or whatever we make! They are so proud, every time they do it. I started before they were 2 years old, to have them dump ingredients into a bowl. Sometimes it doesn't all get in the bowl, but that's how the learn! Children grow so fast! Cherish the special times in the kitchen together!
How long do I need to soak the dates for, in the oatmeal Zbar recipe? Also thanks for the roast suggestion. We had veggie beef and barley soup yesterday and leftovers today!

For my sourdough starter? I try not to. I worked hard to build up all of that healthy bacteria, until my jar is just extremely caked on the top, I leave it in.

I just found your channel! I really enjoyed the video. It sounds like you may have gotten cling peaches instead of freestone. It happened to me once too. What a job! Now, I always make sure the variety I’m planning to process are freestone.
Hello, you all looked like you had so much fun in the snow! I have started, a meal planning list. I hope you love it! Thanks so much for being here!
What a great idea with the leftover roast. I always end up throwing most of the leftovers out. I won't be doing that anymore. Thanks for sharing.
It had so much flavor, I'm guilty of letting my St. Bernard have the leftovers, so glad we used it this time!
Just found your channel those pie bars looked delicious

We did have an absolute blast! You should definitely start sourdough, I've had so much fun with it!
Such wonderful meals
are youre recipes gluten free look so delicious
They are not, but you could probably sub a 1:1 gluten free flour. I've never needed to cook that way though, so am not super familiar with it.
A man from our church works for MoDot also.
Cinnabon has nothing on you
🥰🥰
